Founder and Director: Jennings A. Glenn

The founder and director of the Frederick Flute Choir is Jennings A. Glenn. Mr. Glenn holds a bachelors degree in music education, a masters in flute performance and has completed the class work for his Ph.D. Teaching and conducting positions include the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the Black Hills State University. He is the founder of the Frederick Musicians, a concert group that specializes in European concert tours. He has performed on the flute for more than 40 years.
In 2009, Mr. Glenn retired from his position as chairperson and teacher in the Advanced Music Studies Program of the Frederick County Public Schools in Frederick, Maryland.
